Promoted to Head of Development, responsible for all projects for profitability and timely completion. Promoted to Manager in charge of new business development. Responsible to maintain the firm’s growth, market share and profitability projections. Site evaluation, financing, project pro-forma projections and feasibility studies, oversaw the governmental approval process at the state and local level. Performed the value engineering of the project design. Oversaw the designing of the project. Monitored the project progress.

General Contractor, Developer with an unlimited license in General Building and General Engineering. Operated a very profitable small firm with annual sales of approximately $10,000,000. Primarily a public works commercial contractor securing most of its work through the competitive bidding process. With a staff of approximately 25, Tom directly handled most of the daily operations.

Managed development of build to suit commercial projects.

Managed development of Housing Tracts totaling well over 1000 homes.

Turner Construction Company
Hired out of college. Worked in numerous positions on numerous major high rise office building projects.
Last position held was Superintendent on an 11 story office tower and 4 story attached parking structure. Responsible for all field operations, costs and schedules.

1970 | Active duty in the U.S. Army in 1970.
Received honorable discharge in 1976.

Twenty-five years Real Estate Development experience in positions as President/Owner, Manager/Business Development, Contract Negotiator Manager, Estimator, Project Manager and Superintendent for international, regional and local general contracting firms. Projects include: Airline Terminals, Apartment and Condominium Projects, Banks, Grocery Stores, Government Buildings, High Rise Offices, Highway Construction – CalTrans, Hotels, Manufacturing Facilities, Military Buildings, Medical Offices, Mining Facilities, Parking Structures,, Public Works Projects, Restaurants, Retail Stores, Schools and College Buildings, Shopping Centers, Single Family Residential Subdivisions and Warehouse/Distribution Facilities.
